BioSynergy contains multiple strains of Bacillus, live yeast and functional yeast cell wall components (Beta (β)- glucans) to support optimal rumen environment, digestion, gut health and animal performance.

These different strains of Bacillus species have demonstrated the ability to inhibit certain pathogens, including the gram-negative bacteria, E. coli and Salmonella strains, and the gram-positive Clostridium perfringens. They also support the growth of beneficial Lactobacillus species and produce ‘exo-enzymes’ that assist with digestion.

Live yeast not only improve rumen fermentation though oxygen scavenging but also improves the length and health of villi allowing more efficient nutrient absorption.

β-glucans are branched chain carbohydrates that support gut health.

The Challenge

Ruminal acidosis is a metabolic disease that greatly affects beef cattle. It is typically associated with intakes of large amounts of fermentable, carbohydrate rich diets. An animal with mild clinical acidosis will be off their feed and may scour. More severe clinical signs of acidosis include depressed growth rates in affected beef cattle despite adequate nutrition and death. Fourteen to forty-two percent of deaths I feedlot cattle are caused by digestive disorders with the average cost of treating cattle with acidosis at $10/head. The national cost of acidosis is $5 million/year.

The Solution

BioSynergy contains multiple bacterial stains, live yeast and functional yeast cell wall components (beta (ß) glucans). It was designed with stabilising the gut microbiome in mind. BioSynergy was developed through a multi-faceted approach to help support gut health against a wide set of conditions.

BioSynergy helps to maintain a healthy gut through pathogen binding and inhibition, through aiding digestion and nutrient absorbing, and providing an optimizes environment for beneficia bacteria.
