UltraSorb R is a ruminant-specific mineral feed developed to reduce the impact of mycotoxins.

Ruminants can be frequently exposed to health-threatening mycotoxins through feed and bedding, especially those produced by Fusarium and Aspergillus species.

UltraSorb R has three modes of action; to bind, transform and degrade a wide range of mycotoxins and protect against the adverse effects of toxin-forming moulds which may be present in the feed. UltraSorb R also has endotoxin binding capabilities.

UltraSorb R Plus – For use when there is a high Aspergillus species risk (Aflatoxins). Warm and dry conditions.

UltraSorb R Extra – For use when there is a high Fusarium species risk (Fumonisin, T2, DON, HT2, ZON). Damp and cool conditions.

The Challenge

Mycotoxins are one of the most dangerous hidden threats to poultry health, compromising growth, fertility, disease immunity and overall performance, impacting business profitability.  Compound feeds containing a mixture of grains, especially maize can harbour mycotoxins.  Bedding straw can also harbour mycotoxins.
