Peter van der Vegt brings over 30 years of experience in the dairy industry across both Europe and the United States. Raised on a dairy farm, he combines practical, hands-on knowledge with strong technical expertise in ruminant nutrition.​

He has extensive experience supporting both commercial and technical teams, working closely with customers across B2B and B2F channels. Peter specialises in translating nutritional science into practical, on-farm solutions that deliver real value to livestock producers and their businesses.

Rob Furmage holds a degree in Chemistry, specialising in Analytical Chemistry, and brings a strong background in scientific analysis and product development.​

He leads the Scientific Services team at Volac, delivering the Mycocheck service and supporting customers with data-led insights. Rob has over 10 years of experience in developing service-based offerings and joined Volac in 2021 as part of the Micron acquisition.

Dr Hsueh-lui Ho is the Global Technical Manager for Feed Additives at Volac International. With a PhD in Infectious Diseases and more than a decade of experience in academic research focusing on fungal pathogens, she brings extensive scientific expertise to the animal nutrition industry.​

​Since joining the industry, Hsueh-lui has been involved in the research and development of innovative feed additive solutions, helping bridge the gap between science and practical application. In her current role, she works closely with commercial, technical and research teams to support product development and deliver solutions that help improve animal health, productivity and farm performance.

Raised in Northern Ireland and with a strong background in animal nutrition and livestock production, Eimear Diamond works closely with farmers, feed businesses and industry partners across the UK and Ireland. As Sales Manager at Volac, she is passionate about helping customers improve animal performance and profitability through practical, science-backed nutritional solutions.

Mike brings over 30 years of commercial experience within Volac, having been closely involved in the global sales and development of its product portfolio.​

​In his current role, Mike works across multiple functions within the business, ensuring that Volac’s resources are aligned to deliver the highest level of value and sales support to key customers worldwide. ​

Mike’s connection to agriculture stems from his family background, with both of his parents raised on small holdings in West Wales. This early exposure has shaped his understanding of the livestock industry and continues to underpin his practical, customer-focused approach.

Mark Leggett is a microbiologist with a strong background in both academic and industrial research. He holds a degree in Genetics and a PhD in Microbiology, bringing deep scientific expertise to his role.​

Mark leads the Research and Development team at Volac, where he has been part of the business for over 12 years. His work focuses on advancing innovation and supporting the development of solutions that deliver practical value to customers.

Megan is Global Product Manager for Feed Additives at Volac, supporting product strategy and commercial development across global markets.​

​She joined Volac from Lely, where she worked across product and commercial teams to support new technology introduction in dairy systems. Megan brings strong product-focused experience, working closely with sales, technical and operational teams to deliver practical solutions for livestock producers.​

Having grown up on a dairy farm, she combines industry knowledge with a clear understanding of on-farm needs.

Couzijn Bos MBA is Key Account Manager in Europe, supporting the growth of Volac’s portfolio across the region.​

He brings extensive experience in business development and marketing within the agricultural sector, with a strong focus on the ruminant's market. Since joining Volac in 2014, Couzijn has played a key role in developing business plans and supporting commercial growth across multiple European markets.

Dr. Gerd Diebold is Key Account Manager for Germany, bringing extensive global experience in animal nutrition and the agricultural sector.​

​He joins Volac following a long career in the animal feed industry, where he has held technical and commercial roles supporting applications across both silage and feed. Gerd has strong experience in market development, customer partnerships, and product positioning.​

Based near Mannheim, he combines technical expertise with a commercial focus to support customers and grow the feed additives portfolio in Germany.

Piotr Romaszewski is Key Account Manager for Poland, based near Lublin in eastern Poland. He brings extensive experience across the livestock and feed sectors, with expertise spanning sales management, ruminant nutrition and product management.​

​Throughout his career, Piotr has worked closely with farmers and industry partners, combining technical knowledge with a strong commercial understanding of the market. His experience also includes managing Holstein breeding programmes and supporting agricultural sustainability initiatives, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing modern livestock production.

Jean Christophe Bruneaux is Key Account Manager for France at Volac, responsible for developing the French market, strengthening customer relationships and supporting the continued growth of Volac’s Feed Additive Solutions business.

He brings more than 30 years of experience across commercial, technical and sales roles within the French agricultural sector, including experience in agricultural equipment, livestock and animal nutrition.

With a strong technical background in ruminant nutrition and microbiology, combined with first-hand experience in dairy farming and arable operations, Jean Christophe brings a practical understanding of the challenges facing farmers and the wider livestock industry.

In his role at Volac, he works closely with customers and partners across France to provide technical and commercial support and develop opportunities for Volac’s feed additive portfolio.

Amanda is Key Account Manager for Central England and Wales, bringing 18 years of experience in dairy nutrition.​

Based in Norfolk, she holds a BSc in International Agriculture and has a strong background in ruminant nutrition, dairy genetics, and agricultural lecturing. With a career built on practical, hands-on farming, she is experienced in on-farm problem solving and is passionate about improving livestock efficiency, including working with feed additives to support rumen health and performance. She also applies this knowledge in practice on her own smallholding.

Freya is Key Account Manager for Scotland and Northern England, with several years of experience in the livestock sector.​

Her background includes veterinary diagnostics, supporting livestock health and performance. Raised in a farming community in northern Scotland, she holds a BSc in Animal Biology.

Ken brings over 40 years of agricultural experience, with a strong dairy background.​

He works closely with farmers to improve performance through practical, on-farm solutions, supporting efficiency, resilience, and long-term herd health.

Elinor is an Account Manager at Volac, bringing over eight years of experience in the agricultural industry, with a strong background in calf and youngstock nutrition.

She holds a Foundation Degree in Agriculture and has built her career working closely with farmers and agricultural businesses, providing practical support and developing strong customer relationships. With a background spanning animal nutrition and farm management, Elinor is passionate about helping customers find practical solutions that support livestock performance, efficiency and profitability.

In her role at Volac, Elinor works closely with customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities to add value through Volac’s range of nutritional and forage solutions.

Alan Lockhart is Technical Services Manager for UK & Ireland at Volac, bringing extensive experience across the livestock industry and a strong passion for supporting farmers, customers and commercial teams.

As part of Volac’s Global Technical Services team, Alan helps translate scientific knowledge into practical, on-farm solutions, providing technical expertise and support to customers and partners across the UK and Ireland. His role also supports the generation of field evidence, technical training and collaboration across Commercial, Marketing and R&D.

With a strong understanding of the livestock sector and the challenges faced on farm, Alan is focused on helping customers apply technical solutions that support ruminant health, performance and productivity.

Andrew studied Agriculture at Newcastle University, before completing an MBA at Bath University. Having worked for Promar International for 15 years as a consultant, the last 3 years managing the business. He has been involved with a diverse range of client work including working with individual farms to grow and support performance, to supply chain initiatives such as helping to establish the Tesco dairy cost of production initiative.​

Following a period working from Shanghai, helping to develop a strategic plan for Asia, for the last 12 years Andrew has led Genus's work in the bovine sector across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has led a team helping to bring together cutting-edge science with the wants and needs of dairy and beef producers across the region. With a relentless focus on customer and needs and delivering results for all, Andrew is passionate about driving on farm performance and sustainability, achieved by developing people and teams.
